Leading the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Is A Full-Time Job

The work of the CFPB is far too important to be treated as a part-time job. The current interim director already has a full-time job as the director of the Office of Management and Budget — reporting directly to Trump.

To maintain the independence and effectiveness of the CFPB, we need a full-time, permanent director who will put the needs of hardworking Americans ahead of special interests and bank lobbyists. We can’t afford to let bad actors on Wall Street trigger another economic recession because the current watchdog was too busy juggling multiple responsibilities.

Join Tammy and call on Trump to nominate a director who will take this job seriously.
