Today, United Steelworkers District 7 announced their endorsement of Tammy Baldwin’s U.S. Senate reelection campaign.
“The United Steelworkers District 7 is proud to endorse Tammy Baldwin for the U.S. Senate in 2024,” said USW 7 District Director Michael Millsap. “Tammy is committed to making sure that working people have a fighter on their side. From championing her Buy America rules and strengthening our apprenticeship programs to saving our pensions and being a staunch defender of workers’ rights to organize and collectively bargain, Tammy is the fighter we can always count on to do right by Wisconsin’s working families.”
“I’m so honored to receive the endorsement of United Steelworkers District 7, who represent thousands of working Wisconsinites,” said Tammy Baldwin. “Our workers are the backbone of our state and keep our Made in Wisconsin economy going strong. With United Steelworkers District 7 standing by my side in 2024, I’m confident that we’re going to deliver even more jobs, higher wages, and better benefits for all of our workers.”
Tammy Baldwin has served Wisconsin in the Senate since 2013. She has worked with Republicans and Democrats to take on the biggest fights and win, passing legislation to promote Made in America manufacturing, lower the price of prescription drugs like insulin, and expand health care for veterans. She is the author of the Women’s Health Protection Act which guarantees equal access to abortion everywhere in the United States.
