There’s a lot I love about being Tammy’s fundraiser. One of my favorite things is getting to join Tammy at events, parties, and rallies all over the country. (Speaking of which, I’m really looking forward to her upcoming birthday party here in Madison!)

 

Last weekend we went to an amazing and inspiring LGBT rally in Chicago. As you well know, Tammy has been advocating for LGBT equality for years, so at the event she had the chance to catch up with many dear friends… and of course meet and energize a ton of LGBT organizers!

 

Anyway, I wanted to share this video I took of Tammy's speech. In it she talks about her first run for Congress and how she proved the pundits wrong by becoming Wisconsin's first woman and the first out lesbian elected to that position.
