It's a great time to be a Democrat in Congress.
In fact, with the Republicans scrambling on the defense, some people think we Democrats should just keep our heads down, protect our lead in the polls, and let the Republicans self-destruct.
I totally disagree.

Last week marked the 6th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Today, Osama bin Laden remains at large and Al Qaeda and the Taliban are growing stronger in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
